The Security page contains three sub-sections: System Passwords, System Settings, and Control. The Passwords
page is shown in Figure 5-12. This page permits modifications of the power-on password and power-on password
control. The Change Power-On Passwords screen is also directly accessible from the toptools menu in NNM.
DMI/WMI power-on passwords are stored in encrypted form on the toptools server database. DMI/WMI
connections with action requests use these password to authorize on the client system. When you attempt an action
with the wrong password, the toptools web page will prompt you to enter the correct one. The correct password will
be stored in the toptools server database for future DMI/WMI action requests.

The System Settings portion of the Security page is the same page that is invoked from the toptools menu on the
NNM map. This screen is shown in Figure 5-13.
