For HP Netservers, it may be necessary to implement a persistence filter to support the creation and functioning of
Netserver subsystem status icons for NNM maps in transient mode. A file, hpNetserverfilter, has been provided in
the patches directory. You may replace your existing filter file with this file (through renaming it), or copy and
paste the following lines from the new file to your existing filters file:
Filters
isHPNetserver "Objects with the attribute isHPNetserver true"
{
isHPNetserver
}
FilterExpressions
HPNetservers "map or persistence filter for HP Netserver
products" { NetsNSegs || isHPNetserver }
Once the HPNetservers filter expression is included in the filters file, it needs to be specified under the map->
properties-> ipmap configuration dialog as shown below:
