7.4 Verifying a Successful Platform Component Uninstall


Run ovstatus. This should display a list of object managers and a status indication. The hpttBrdgDisc discovery
service should no longer be listed. The menu items for HP Toptools should no longer be displayed in ovw. Also, the
map icons for HP devices should revert to their generic form.

7.5 Uninstalling hp web jetadmin for openview nnm


The OpenView NNM services do not need to be stopped to uninstall the HP Web Jetadmin bridge.

7.5.1 Uninstalling hp web jetadmin for openview nnm-nt


Uninstall HP Web Jetadmin for OpenView NNM-NT using the Windows NT Control Panel Add/Remove Program
function..

7.5.2 Verifying a Successful Uninstall

• The menu items for HP Web Jetadmin should no longer be listed in the NNM Tools menu.

• HP printers should be displayed with generic printer icons provided by NNM.
