At this point, you are ready to communicate your design to the
printer. To do this:

7. Create a format file, based on how you filled out your

worksheet. Refer to Chapter 7, "Syntax Quick Reference,"
for more information.

8. Download your format to the printer. Refer to Chapter 6,

"Printing," for more information.

 formats with the J640/J641 printer.

Determining Format Contents ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

Before you lay out your format, you need to make a few
decisions. For example:

How large is your supply?

What kind of text do you want to print?

Which fonts do you want to use?

Do you want to include a bar code?

Do you want to include graphics?
