Drawing Rough Sketches ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

After you decide what information you want to
print, sketch how you want the information to
appear on the label. You may want to draw
several sketches that contain the same
information, but with different layouts, to
determine which one works best for you.
Note any areas that are preprinted on the
label, such as a logo.

As soon as you know what information to include on the label,
and you have a rough sketch, you can use a supply layout grid
to help you layout your label. If you do not want to use a grid,
go to "Considering Field Types" to choose what information
you want on your label.
