Initial Setup

Enter the Management IP address (MIP) of the existing
cluster.

The system is initialized by connecting to the

management server

on an existing iSD, which must be operational and

initialized.

Enter the Management IP (MIP) address: <IP address>

Provide the Management IP address of the cluster to which
you want to join the current VPN Gateway. To check the
Management IP of an existing cluster, connect to the cluster and
use the

/cfg/sys/cur

command.

Complete the

join

setup by following the instructions in the

section

“Complete the Join Setup” (page 56)

Setting up a Two-Armed Configuration

If the currently installed VPN Gateway(s) in the cluster are set up for a
two-armed configuration you probably want the new VPN Gateway to be
set up like the previously installed NVG(s).

To set up a two-armed configuration, proceed as follows:

Choose join from the Setup menu.
