Identify the defined string IDs.

For easy configuration and identification, each defined string has an ID attached, as shown in
the following example:

Number of entries: six

Configure one or more real servers to support URL-based load balancing.

Add the defined string(s) to the real server using the following command:

where ID is the identification number of the defined string.

If you don’t add a defined string (or add the defined string “

”) the server will han-

dle any request.

A server can have multiple defined strings. For example:

“/sales”

“.gif”

With these defined strings, this particular server can handle requests that start with “/images”
or “/sales” and any requests that contain “.gif”.
