The information provided by each menu option is briefly described in Table 4-22 , with point-
ers to detailed information.

Command Syntax and Usage
route
Displays the IP Routing Menu. Using the options of this menu, the system displays the following
for each configured or learned route:
„ Route destination IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address
„ Type of route
„ Tag indicating origin of route
„ Metric for RIP tagged routes, specifying the number of hops to the destination (1-15 hops, or 16
for infinite hops)
„ The IP interface that the route uses
