Press the appropriate key to select the original type.

❒ If you do not wish to set any other functions, press the {

} key to start
copying.
Selecting Copy Paper
There are two ways to select copy paper:
❖
Auto Paper Select
The machine selects a suitable size of copy paper automatically based on the
original size and the reproduction ratio
❖
Manual Paper Select
Choose the tray containing the paper you wish to copy onto: Paper Tray,
Large Capacity Tray (LCT).
Note
❒ Auto Paper Select mode is intended for normal and recycled paper.
❒ If you set all the paper trays other than “Plain” or “Recycled Paper”, you can-
not use Auto Paper Select.
❒ Refer to the following table for possible copy paper sizes and directions with
Auto Paper Select (when copying at a ratio of 100 %):
