7.2.3 Alarms
(1) Alarm Levels
Alarms are classified into the following three levels according to the error description:

(The actuator is not stopped.)
Operation

B00~CFF Turned on
The actuator is forcibly
stopped.
(The actuator decelerates to
a stop and the servo is turned
off. The homing completion
status is canceled.)
Reset the controller using
the alarm reset signal (RES)
or the PC software.
(It is necessary to perform
homing operation again.)
Cold start D00~FFF Turned on
The actuator is forcibly
stopped.
(The actuator decelerates to
a stop and the servo is turned
off. The homing completion
status is canceled.)
Turn the power supply off
and back on again.
(It is necessary to perform
homing operation again.)

Cancel the alarm after investigating and removing the cause in all the cases.

Contact IAI if the cause of an alarm cannot be removed or an alarm cannot be canceled even if the
cause is removed.

If the same error occurs after canceling an alarm, the cause of the alarm has not been removed. Try
removing the cause and canceling the alarm again.
