Editing a
Location When you edit a location’s record in Package Track, the updates to the
record are applied throughout the application once the changes are saved.
To edit a location:
1. Select the Location that you want to edit in the Locations list window,
and then click the Edit button.
2. The Edit Location dialog appears for this location record.
3. Make the desired change(s) and then click OK to save the change(s).
(Clicking Cancel will cancel any changes.) You are returned to the
Locations window, with the change in place.
Deleting a
Location Note: Package Track will not delete a location that is active in the system.
A location is considered active in the system if it is part of a package
record.
If you try to delete a location that is being used by the system, the follow-
ing dialog appears, telling you that this location is in use, and cannot be
deleted:
Click OK to close this window, and return to the Locations list window.
To delete a location:
1. Select the Location you want to delete in the Locations list window.
2. Next, click the Delete button. A dialog box appears asking you to con-
firm the deletion.
