Sending Data to the Workstation Application
Important:You must register and activate the Package Track application in
order to send handheld application data to the workstation application. If
your application is not registered, you cannot upload data from the hand-
held application to the workstation application. For more information
about registering and activating your application, please refer to your
Quick Start Guide.
Note: Make sure that your device has a connection to your PC before
sending data.
Tap Sync > Send Data. The application closes and sends any changes to
recipient, package, and signature information from the batch portable
application to the workstation application. The data is immediately pro-
cessed and placed in the Package Track workstation application.
Receiving Data from the Workstation Application
Note: Make sure that your device has a connection to your PC before
receiving data.
To receive data from the workstation application, tap Sync > Receive
Data. The application closes and downloads tracking number format, car-
rier, delivery status, location, user, mailroom, package, package type,
recipient, signature, and security information from the workstation appli-
cation based upon your Send Data settings in the DMS Batch Synchroni-
zation Utility. The application will continue to use the Send Data settings
