Deleting a
Recipient

Note: Package Track will not allow you to delete a recipient who is active
in the system. A recipient is active in the system when the recipient is asso-
ciated with a package record.

Important:To make sure that the handheld recipient list contains the latest
changes, be sure to synchronize your data after removing any recipient
records from the workstation application.

Note: The Unknown Recipient is the default system recipient and cannot
be deleted.

If you try to delete a recipient who is active in the system, the following
dialog appears, telling you that this recipient cannot be deleted:

Click OK to return to the Recipients list window.

To delete a recipient:

1.

Select the Entry you want to delete in the Recipients list window.

Next, click the Delete button. A dialog box appears, asking you to con-
firm the deletion.

Click Yes to delete this recipient record. You are returned to the Recipi-
ents list window. Notice that the record has been deleted from the list.

Purging
Recipients

If you elect to purge the recipient list, please note that all recipient records
that are not being used by the system will be deleted except for the
Unknown Recipient, which is the default recipient value. The purge option
