Make sure the Allow network (Ethernet) and Remote Access Service
(RAS) server connection with this desktop computer check box is
marked.

Click the OK button to save your settings and close the window.
Microsoft ActiveSync v4.0 and higher
In the Microsoft ActiveSync application, click File > Connection Set-
tings. The Connection Settings window appears.

In the Connection Settings window, make sure the Open ActiveSync
when my device connects check box is marked.
•
Click the drop-down arrow in the This computer is connected to field
and select Work Network from the list that appears.
•
When Work Network is listed in the This computer is connected to
field and the Open ActiveSync when my device connects check box
is marked, click the OK button to close the Connection Settings win-
dow and save your settings.
