Programming group-dial codes from the
software
You can use the software to program up to 25 group-dial codes with
fax numbers you use often. If the product is directly connected to your
computer using a parallel cable and the computer has a compatible
e-mail program, you can also program group-dial codes that contain
e-mail addresses or combinations of fax addresses and e-mail
addresses. A group can contain up to 225 speed-dial codes.
Group-dial codes can be assigned to any 25 of the 250 total codes,
and group-dial codes 1-10 are associated with the corresponding
one-touch keys. After you assign group-dial codes using this
procedure, the codes are downloaded to and stored in the product.
Assigning codes using this procedure in no way affects the PC Fax
Phone Books.
To program speed-dial codes (and one-touch keys)
from the software
1 Open the JetSuite software and click the Configure icon.
2 Click the Modify device configuration settings for your
HP LaserJet 3150 icon.
3 Click Speed Dial Configuration.
4 In the # field in the Speed Dial Information box, type the number
of the group-dial code (1 through 250) you want to use and press
T AB .
5 Click Add Group.
6 In the Group Name field, type a name for this group.
7 In the All Individuals list, select a member for this group and click
Add. (If your computer is directly connected to the product and
you have a compatible e-mail program installed, e-mail addresses
you have assigned to speed-dial codes are available.)
8 Repeat step 7 to add more members to the group.
9 Click OK to add this group-dial code.
