Using this guide with your installation
Because product functionality varies according to installation, all
procedures in this guide will have one or more of the following icons
next to them to denote from where you can do that procedure.
Appears next to procedures you can do from the control
panel.
Appears next to procedures you can do from the
Document Assistant or software when the product is
directly connected to your computer using a parallel
cable. The Document Assistant is only available to a
computer directly connected to the product.
Appears next to procedures you can do from your
computer if the product is directly connected to
someone else’s computer using a parallel cable and the
other person has enabled Windows sharing. All
procedures you can do are printing related.
