Changing the default contrast
The default contrast is the contrast normally applied to items being
faxed and copied. The default set at the factory is Normal.
Note
If you only want to change the contrast for the current job, see “Adjusting
the contrast” on page 21 for faxing or “Adjusting the contrast” on
page 73 for copying.
To change the default contrast

choose
DARKEST

DARKER
,
NORMAL
(the default),
LIGHTER
, or
LIGHTEST
.
Note
Lighter or Lightest makes all faxes or copies lighter than the originals.
Darker or Darkest makes all faxes or copies darker than the originals.
