Backing up and restoring codes
If the product loses power for a significant period of time, numbers in
one-touch keys, speed-dial codes, and group-dial codes might be
lost. If the product is directly connected to your computer, the
software tries to rebuild the codes, but it may not be successful. Using
the following procedure, you can regularly create a complete back up
of the one-touch keys, speed-dial codes, and group-dial codes. Then,
you can download the codes back to the product when needed.
To back up codes to the computer

In the JetSuite Pro software, on the Options menu, click Device.

Click Modify device settings on your HP LaserJet 3150.

Click Speed Dial Configuration.

In the Speed Dial Configuration dialog box, click Save.

In the Save as dialog box, choose a location in which to save the
file and name the file. (You might want to include the date as part
of the file name.)

Click OK. The file is saved with an .spd extension.
To restore codes to the product
CAUTION
When you restore, the backed up file replaces all data in the current file.

In the Speed Dial Configuration dialog box, click Load.

Locate and select the backed up file and click Open.
