2.1 Fitting and removing the field bus module
Warning
Sudden unexpected movement of the actuators and non−
defined switching states can cause injury to people and
damage to property.
· Switch off the power supplies before adding or removing
any modules. Note the specified sequence:
1. the compressed air supply
2. the load and operating voltages on the SPC200 and,
if applicable, the load voltage supply on the axis
interface string.
Discharge yourself of static electricity before fitting or removĆ
ing the modules. Undesired discharges of static electricity can
damage the modules.
Sequence The valve locations are marked from left to right with 1 to 4 (6).
Location 1 is reserved for the power supply module (type
SPC−200−PWR−AIF). The field bus module can be fitted as
desired into slots 2 to 4 (6).
Identification Identification of all fitted modules takes place automatically.
Only one field bus module may be fitted.
The modules are fastened with the aid of a locking lever on
the rack. A tool is not therefore required for fitting or removĆ
ing the modules.
