6.4.4 Other problems and remedies
Problem Cause and remedy
Controller does not
work at all
• Check all cables and connections for short circuit, disconnections or
incorrect pin allocation.
• Observe the information in the assembly instructions for the cables and
plugs used.
• Blown internal fuse: Internal short circuit, completely replace the
controller.
Controller does not
achieve the specified
performance data
• Incorrect control signals from master controller (incorrect signals,
incorrect level). Observe the timing diagrams in the Commissioning
chapter.
• Incorrect controller setting. Observe the information in the online help
section of the FCT plug-in for the correct settings of the controller
parameters.
• Error in the power supply. Observe the tolerance values in accordance
with the chapter “Technical data”.
