2.3 Loading the original
The original can be loaded on ADF and original glass in this machine. If the
original is loaded into the ADF, the original is scanned automatically from the
ADF.
Loading the original into the ADF
If the ADF is used, original with multiple pages can be automatically scanned.
In addition, double-sided originals can also be faxed.

Close ADF.

The original is sequentially arranged from the first page.

Load the original to be
faxed facing up into
ADF.
– To record source in-
formation correctly,
insert the front edge
of the original into
the ADF.

Adjust the lateral guides.
– The lateral guides are
set to maximum
width for the mixed
originals, and the
original is positioned
in line to the inner
side.
