3 Reception
3.1 Reception modes
This machine has the following reception modes. Select the setting appro-
priate for the telephone line in use.
Auto reception (Fax only mode)
Specify this mode when the telephone line is to be used only for faxing.
Refer to “Auto reception (Fax only mode)” on page 3-3.
Manual reception (Telephone Only mode)
This mode should be set when an external telephone is connected and many
telephone calls are received.
For details, refer to “Manual reception (Telephone only mode)” on page 3-4.
