Detail

If the actual paper for printing is smaller than the paper determined in
Step 1, the fax is reduced and then printed.

If the [Print Separate Fax Pages] is [OFF] and the orientation of the actual
paper for printing and the orientation of the paper determined in Step 1
is different, it is automatically rotated 90º and then printed. Refer to “Set-
tings of transmission and reception mode (TX/RX Settings)” on
page 10-60 regarding
[Print Separate Fax Pages].

When faxes with varying sizes are to be printed, processing is carried out
one by one for each page.

When the paper sizes determined in Step 1 and Step 2 are set for multiple
trays, the paper tray is selected according to the settings specified in the
[Auto Tray Selection Settings]. For details on the [Auto Tray Selection
Settings], refer to the User’s Guide [Copy Operations].

When the required paper size is set for the manual tray only, it is printed
from manual paper feed tray. However, when the manual tray is not set
to “Auto Tray Select” in [Auto Tray Selection Settings], paper is not fed
from the manual tray.

Pages are not divided if [Print Separate Fax Pages] is [ON] and [TX/RX
Settings] in the Utility mode is set as follows.
Tray is set to [Tray Selection for RX Print]
When [Min. Reduction for RX Print] is set to [Full Size]
When [Print Paper Selection] is set to [Fixed Size] or [Priority Size]
When [Duplex Print (RX)] is [ON]

Refer to “Settings of transmission and reception mode (TX/RX Settings)”
on page 10-60
for [Tray Selection for RX Print], [Min. Reduction for RX
Print], [Print Paper Selection] and [Duplex Print (RX)].
