1.7 Transmission and reception using an extension line
Transmission and reception using 2 lines can be carried out by installing the
fax multi line.

Note
Please note the following points when installing a fax multi line.
The off-hook function can be used by Line 1 only (standard line).
Reception using Line 2 (extension line) is only by auto reception.
Usage as both a transmission/reception line
When you carry out broadcast transmission to multiple destinations, trans-
mission to multiple destinations can be completed more quickly as transmis-
sion is carried out using 2 lines. This is known as simultaneous broadcasting.
Additionally, it is possible to send and receive faxes while carrying out broad-
cast transmissions by allocationg different telephone companies to each tel-
ephone line.
