The Data Settings page (

), accessible by selecting Properties, allows

the configuration of the event reporting and logging facility and the specification of
the directory paths for storage of event data, controller data, configuration, and
other XTC/3 Editor files.

Event Data
Notification
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . This parameter allows specification of the

level of errors that will be reported to the user
in an error dialog box. The choices are
Errors, Warnings and Beep. If only Beep is
selected the error dialog box will not be
displayed when an error is detected, but
rather the PC will beep once indicating an
error has occurred. The error log can be
examined to determine the nature of the
error.

controller will be logged in the event log file.

Warnings . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . When checked, all warnings reported from

this controller will be logged in the event log
file.

will be logged in the event log file.
