The maximum file size allowed for any data file is 11MB. It is the responsibility of
the user to manage data files, data archiving and hard disk storage.

4.2.4.1 The Display Smoothing Setting

The effective noise of the displayed data can be filtered by changing the
Smoothing setting (see

Figure 4-7

). Smoothing provides an averaging of data

points before the point is displayed, but has no impact on the raw data collected
and saved. Smoothing only affects the display of Rate or Rate Deviation.

4.2.4.2 Setting a Mark

The Set Mark button (see

Figure 4-8

) on the Control Panel allows for a Mark and

text description to be applied to the data. The Set Mark function will Freeze the
graph and provide a crosshair cursor ( + ) to select the data scan to be marked.
Text information (for the Marks History log) can be added in the Set Mark dialog
(see

Figure 4-9

). That Mark is then indicated along the X-axis with a colored

diamond (see

Figure 4-10

).

Marks are automatically generated for:

Š

the start of the Monitor, to store a "benchmark" of the crystal status

Š

any Crystal status change — Crystal Good, Crystal Invalid, Crystal Failure

Š

any controller state change — Ready, Idle, Deposit, etc...
