4.2.4.3 The Pause and Start/Stop Controls

The Pause Screen button (see

Figure 4-11

) on the Control Panel stops the

plotting of data collected, which allows the plotted data to be easily studied or
reviewed. Pause freezes the display but not the data collection. Data collection
continues in the background while the display is frozen and the Pause Screen
button is colored yellow. Pressing the yellow Pause Screen button will unfreeze
the display and update the graph with all the data collected since the button was
pressed. There is an equivalent Pause button on the toolbar (see

Figure 4-11

).

Moving the Data Cursor will also Pause the display during data collection.

NOTE: Changing the X-axis to 60 minutes or greater, when the Trend Graph is

scrolling, will automatically freeze the display.
