6.1.1 Special characteristics of two-basket programs

In one-basket programs, for every processing

station a different infiltration time can be selected.

However, in two-basket programs infiltration time

is the same for every processing station. Basket

no. 1 starts in station no. 2 and basket no. 2 starts

to be processed in station no. 1.

If a one-basket program is modified into a

two-basket program by adding a basket, the

instrument automatically selects station No. 2 as

starting container. At the same time, the container

times are automatically set to the dwell time of the

displayed station. These changes alter the previ-

ous one-basket program permanently.

If the second basket is deleted, the starting con-

tainer for container station 2 and the infiltration

times remain at the same value. They have to be

reentered as desired for each individual station.
