AC/DC Converter (PS1A)

Every PowerFlex 7000 “A” Frame drive will be supplied with one
AC/DC converter.

This is powered from either a customer-supplied feed, or off a CPT
in the input starter. If the power comes from a CPT, you should
connect a temporary 120V feed to complete all the low voltage
testing. Refer to the specific electrical drawings.

Ensure the output of the supply is 56V DC. Refer to the Component
Definition and Maintenance section (Chapter 6) if adjustment is
necessary.

DC/DC Converter (PS2)

The DC/DC converter (refer to Figure 4.15) has no provision for
output power adjustments. A green LED on the case of the power
supply indicates that the power supply is functioning properly.

Using a digital multimeter, measure each of the outputs of the DC/DC
converter to ensure that they meet the values specified on the
electrical schematics.
