Lower
The
Upper
and
Lower
boxes on the
Define Graph
menu enable you to set
the range for the variables plotted within the viewport. The
Upper
limit sets
the maximum value that the viewport can plot, and corresponds to the top of
the
Graph
viewport. The
Lower
limit sets the minimum value the viewport
will plot, and corresponds to the bottom of the viewport.

As a rule of thumb, set the
Upper
and
Lower
limits just beyond the range of
expected results of
th
e tools being plotted.
This viewport has a narrower
range between Upper and
Lower limits
This viewport has a wider
range between Upper and
Lower limits, and thus a less
dramatic display of results
