Campaign Sequence Cycle: The operation with the same or next highest (lowest)
campaign value is selected. The sequence starts with the lowest value and selects
operations with increasing campaign values. When there are no operations with higher
values, the sequence is reversed and the next lowest value is selected.

Campaign Sequence Down: The operation with the same or next lowest campaign
value is selected. The sequence starts with the highest value and selects operations
with decreasing campaign values. When there are no operations with lower values, the
operation with the highest value is selected.

Campaign Sequence Up: The operation with the same or next highest campaign
value is selected. The sequence starts with the lowest value and selects operations with
increasing campaign values. When there are no operations with higher values, the
operation with the lowest value is selected.

Least Setup With Campaign: The operation with the least setup time and the closest
campaign value is selected. The campaign values are only used to resolve ties in setup.

Least Setup Time: The operation with the least setup or changeover time is selected.
The following dependent rules are campaign and setup rules that only consider the
operations with job due dates that fall within a rolling-time horizon, specified by a timed
offset value in the database. You can think of this as a time window that rolls forward as
the simulation-based sequencer advances time. Only operations that have due dates that
are earlier than the current simulation-based sequencer time plus the timed offset are
considered. If at any time advance there are no operations with due dates that fall within
this rolling-time window, then all available to-be-scheduled operations with due dates
beyond the window will be considered. Brief descriptions of the standard independent
operation selection rules are given below.
