Labor resource and overlay the time patterns for the Labor and Cutter resources, your
overview should appear as shown next.

Create named views

In FactoryTalk Scheduler applications with a large number of resources, it is sometimes
desirable to create different views of the Sequence Overview window or planning board
for different users. Although our tutorial system is not large and can easily be viewed in its
current format, let’s assume that we would like to create several different views. First, we
would like to retain the current view, with some minor changes, and create two new views
(Fabrication and Assembly).

To begin, let’s rearrange the current view (called the default Gantt view) so the order of
the resources, which are shown at the left side of the view, follows the general sequence of
use by the orders. We want the order of the resources (from top to bottom) to be Cutter,
Bender, Machiner, Welder, Finisher, Subassembly Area 1, Subassembly Area 2, Assembly
and Pack Area 1, Assembly and Pack Area 2, and Labor. You can move the position of the
resources by placing your cursor on the selected resource name, click and hold, then move
your cursor to just above another resource identifier, and release. This action allows you
to rearrange the sequence in which the resources or shift patterns are displayed. If you
rearrange your view, be sure to save your file in order to save the rearranged view. If you
