Error Handling

The LonWorks module handles errors in the following manner:

If nciRcvHrtBt > 0, and heartbeats are not received within nciRcvHrtBt time, then
communication with the LonWorks network is considered down. This will result in a
net comm fault.

The module responds as specified in Comm Loss Response.

If the module does not get access to DP RAM in 250 ms, the comm_failure bit will
be set in the network output SNVT_obj_status nvoObjSatus. This will also result in a
net comm fault (force write in DP RAM without waiting on VTAC 7 drive).

Internal VTAC 7 drive error codes are described in the drive register map (fault latch
bits word 1 and fault latch bits word 2).

accessed. Drop0 Reg 13

Check the drive. Check setting of

Check connections, cables, and
setup of send/rcv hrtbt
parameters. Recoverable fault
use RQ_CLEAR_ALARM.

Node offline.

Red 1 Hz

Set node online.
