Y1077- Hydraulic Connections for ADI
Fan
1.

If your tractor has a priority circuit for hydraulic
motors, connect the fan to this circuit.

Note: Fan hoses are not the same size.

inch hose are paired together.

Refer to Figure 111

Connect the

inch hose

to the side of the circuit

you choose to be pressure side.

Hook

inch hose (not shown) to the other tractor

outlet.

Connect

inch sump hose

to the tractor

hydraulic reservoir. Refer to your tractor operator’s
manual for instructions.

Refer to Figure 112

Machine Damage Risk:
Failure to properly plumb sump hose into tractor hydraulic
reservoir may result in tractor or drill damage.

Note: For proper hydraulic flow, use a poppet-style,

Pioneer quick coupler to connect sump hose to
tractor.

Auger/Fold
Connect auger/fold hoses. Auger/fold hoses go to the
diverter valve

on the inside of the left tongue rail. This

circuit is used by the cart for the auger, and may also be
directed to rear ports for implement Fold.

A diverter valve on the cart (

in Figure 111) switches

flow between auger and rear ports.

Implement Lift
Connect lift hoses. Lift hoses are the

inch hoses that

go directly to the lift couplers on rear of cart. This

8

inch

hose circuit is unused by the air cart, but is used for Lift
by all implements.
