2. In the Address field, enter one of the following URLs to navigate to the PowerVault 735N NAS

Manager Web UI:

http://<system_name>:1278
http://<IP_address>:1278

Can you connect to the PowerVault 735N NAS Manager?

Yes. Proceed to step 3.

No. Proceed to step 6.

3. Did you log on to the NAS Manager using the correct password?

NOTE: The default administrator password is "powervault" in lower caps.

Yes. Proceed to step 4.

No. Re-enter the correct password in the dialog box.

4. In the NAS Manager, click Maintenance, and then click Logs.

The Application Log, System Log, and Security Log appear.

5. Click on each event log and check for errors.

Were any errors found in the logs?

Yes. Troubleshoot the system and make the appropriate repairs, then repeat step 4.

No. Proceed to step 6.

6. Ping the PowerVault 735N system to verify the connection.

Could you ping the system?

Yes. Use the

DRAC 2 Console Redirection Service

, if present, to check for a blue screen. If a DRAC 2

is not installed in your system, proceed to step 7.

No. Proceed to step 7.

7. Connect to the PowerVault NAS Manager through the Administration port.
