An integrated National Semiconductor PC97317 super I/O controller that controls the bi-directional
parallel port, two serial ports, keyboard, mouse, and the diskette drive.

NOTE: The parallel port is not supported.

An integrated Intel 82559 10/100 network interface controller (NIC), providing an Ethernet interface.

A two-channel PERC 2/DC mounted on a PCI card in PCI slot 1 that supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10,
and 50.

Channel A (internal channel)

supports five 1-inch internal SCSI hard-disk drives using a SCSI

backplane board. The SCSI backplane board automatically configures the SCSI ID numbers and
SCSI termination on each hard drive, which simplifies drive installation.

Channel B (external channel)

supports an optional PowerVault 210S external SCSI enclosure.

An integrated Adaptec AIC-7899 Ultra3 SCSI host adapter (not used in this system)

Integrated server management circuitry that monitors cooling system fan operation as well as critical
system voltages and temperatures.

System board support for the Dell OpenManage™ Remote Assistant when the optional Dell
OpenManage Remote Assistant Card 2 (DRAC 2) is installed, providing additional local and remote
server management.

A PS/2-style keyboard port, dual USB ports, and a PS/2-compatible mouse port.

NOTE: The keyboard and mouse are used for diagnostic purposes only.
