Add users to the WACS system
Users can be added to the WACS system in two ways:
•
A user can set up and request an account via the New Account page, and an
administrator can activate the account.
•
An administrator can add and activate a user’s account, and the user can request
a different password later, if desired.
Certain WACS administrators can add accounts for specific types of WACS users.
•
Designated WACS biomedical engineers can add administrative user accounts.
•
Designated WACS clinical administrators can add clinical user accounts.
Each account requires these things to be functional:

At least one assigned unit-role combination. User roles are associated with
predefined system privileges. For more information about roles, see

The account must be activated after it is added.
•
A unique account name and password is not required, but it is recommended for
enhanced user accountability.
