Push on event settings
Specify which types of event data WACS sends to your CIS/HIS
In the HL7 - Push on Event page, you can specify whether WACS sends specific vital-sign
events data to your facility’s CIS/HIS.
To turn on or off HL7 push on event for specific vital signs
1. Along the top of any WACS page, click Home. Click WACS Administrator. Click the
HL7 Manager tab.
The HL7 Manager page appears.
2. Along the left side of the page, click Push on Event.
The HL7 - Push on Event Settings page appears.
3. In the New Value column, check or clear boxes.
If you want to discard the changes, click Reset.
4. Click Save Changes.
5. Reboot WACS. (For reboot instructions, see “Log out of the WACS program or reboot
WACS” on page 67.)
Your changes take effect
Note All configuration settings in the HL7 - Push on Event page apply to all Acuity
System units and Acuity System patients.
