Troubleshooting WACS Login

Problem

Explanation

While trying to log in to the WACS pages, a Your Account
Deactivated screen presented itself. Why was my account
deactivated?

If you consecutively attempt to log in with the wrong
password five times or more, WACS deactivates the
account. Take these steps:

1. Attempt to identify your password while suspending

all interaction with the WACS program for a minimum
of five minutes.

2. Take one of these steps:

If you were able to identify your password, log in as
usual.

If you were unable to identify your password, fill out a
Forgotten Password request For instructions, see

“If

you forget your WACS password”

on page 14.

3. (Optional) To request timely authorization of your

request, talk with a designated WACS biomedical
engineer if you are a clinical user or a designated
WACS clinical administrator if you are an
administrative user.

When I attempt to access the Welch Allyn Connectivity
Server program via an internet browser, I receive a
security alert regarding certificates.

You cannot continue in the login process unless you
accept, proceed or add an exception.

To stop these alerts from occurring, your Biomedical
Engineering department can contact a Welch Allyn
Service representative to create a site-specific certificate
that is traceable to a certificate authority recognized by
your internet browser.
