Troubleshooting the Web Server option

Problem

Explanation

I did not delete an Acuity patient printout from WACS, but I
cannot find it in the WACS Patient Reports page.

Patient printout reports that have been marked for
deletion in a Patient Reports page are deleted. Otherwise,
reports are retained in WACS for a configurable amount of
time, ranging from 1 day to 30 days.

If WACS hard drive space is full, reports are deleted.
Incomplete reports > 24 hours old are deleted first,
followed by other reports in order of oldest first. Locked
reports are deleted last.

I was expecting more patient reports to be available for
patients in the Web Server option. Suddenly new reports
are no longer available.

If the WACS CPU is disconnected from the Acuity System
network, printouts that were bound for WACS viewing can
be stalled at the Acuity System.

Proceed through these steps, as necessary:

1. Ensure that the WACS CPU is connected to the Acuity

System network.

If it is not, reconnect it.

2. If the reports are still not available, check with your

Biomedical Engineering department to ascertain
whether any system changes have taken place.

3. If necessary, contact Welch Allyn Technical Services.

When I click a patient report to view it, this message
appears: “Internet Explorer

®

cannot download [report

name] from [server]”

1. In Internet Explorer. locate the security option

checkboxes.

They are typically under Tools, Internet Options,
Advanced, Security.

2. Clear the Do not save encrypted pages to disk

box.

.

I marked a patient report for saving or deletion, but the
report status is different.

If two WACS users have the same Patient Reports page
open, and they simultaneously mark the same patient
report in different ways, the resulting report status
reflects one or neither of the requests.
