Threading the Bobbin Case (Fig. 15, 16, 17)
Hold the bobbin, which
has been fully wound with
----------------- , thread, in the right
‘ / j hand so that the thread

to right (Fig. 15). With
the left hand, grasp the
bobbin case and place
the bobbin into it
(Fig. 15).

Then pull the thread with the
right hand through the slot in
the edge of the bobbin case j
(Fig. 16) and further to the left ,

under the tension spring. Let
the end of the thread hang
down, next to the position finger
of the bobbin case, as shown
Fig. 17 in Fig. 17.

To Replace the Bobbin Case
After threading, hold the bobbin case by the latch
between the thumb and forefinger of the left hand, and
replace it on the center stud of the shuttle body, so
that the position finger (F, Fig. 12) fits into the notch
of the shuttle race. The bobbin case must be pressed
