Set

normal and use embroidery cotton No. 30 for upper

threading. The stitch regulator is set either almost

The

corded

seam

is

produced

by

over

seaming

a

thread with zig zag stitches. For straight cording, use

cording foot No. 5, Fig. 3 and for curved cording, use
cording foot No. 2, Fig. 4, for the first of which a hole

is provided through which the thread is passed. For

cording, the under thread tension must be somewhat
tighter than for ordinary sewing.
