Twin needle sewing produces straight and parallel zigzag
stitches. It may be applied for hemming, application of elastic or
otherdecorative stitch patterns.
RECOMMENDED SETTINGS
Pattern: All
Needle position: Center
Stitch width: Until the position indicated in the lever
Foot: Special purpose presserfoot( J )
Note:
Do not use a stitch width great than that recommended,
because it may cause the needle to break.
1.
Insertthetwin needle.
2.
Insertasecond felt and spool pin (illustration 1).
3.
Insert
both
spools
and
pass
both
threads
together
in
the
thread guide the usual way, exceptforthe lastthread guide.

Pass
the
thread
of
the
horizontal
spool
pin
through
the
last
thread
guide
and
through
the
eye
of
the
right
needle.
The
other
thread
shall
not
pass
through
the
thread
guide,
only
through the eye ofthe left needle (illustration 2).
