C.5.4 Repairs

Checking clamp travel steps:
After the toothed belt has been replaced, the number of
clamp travel steps must be checked.
At the factory, this value has been set:

to 50 steps at the right stop,

to 820 steps at the left stop.

These values must be adhered to.

1. Switch machine on and allow to reference.
2. Go to diagnostics menu:

3. Go to clamp transport menu:

4. Go to clamp motor travel steps:

Press

5. Confirm safety prompt:

6. Push clamp rail manually to the right stop. The display

must show 50 mm.

7. Push clamp rail manually to the left stop. The display

must show 820 mm.

Setting clamp travel steps:
If the result of the clamp travel step check is not 820 mm
for the left stop, switch S04 must be repositioned:

If the value is higher than 820 mm, the switch must
be repositioned to the left.

If the value is lower than 820 mm, the switch must be
repositioned to the right.

1. Loosen two switch retaining screws.
2. Move switch in required direction and tighten screws.
3. Recheck number of clamp travel steps. If required, the

setting process must be repeated until the correct value
of 820 mm is displayed.
