Setting the network [Network]
n Friendly Name
The Friendly Name (personalized name) is the name of this
unit displayed on the network (Maximum 63 characters).

Press MENU .
Turns on the Menu settings mode
and the Menu appears on the
display ( vpage 11 “Menu
map”).

Use ui to select “Network”
– “Friendly Name”, then press
ENTER or p .
“Friendly Name” menu appears.

Use ui to select the friendly name (Marantz
NA-11S1), then press ENTER .

Edit a friendly name.
• For character input, see page 42 .
n Resetting the friendly name to the default
setting
In step 3, select “Default” and press ENTER .
Other network settings
n Network Control
Set the network function On/Off during standby.

“Network Control”, then press

“Network Control” menu appears.

Use ui to select “On”, then press ENTER or p .
On Network is on during standby. Main unit operable
with a network compatible controller. Shortens
the time before the network connection is
completed.
• When “Network Control” is set to “On”, the
power display lights orange.
• More power is consumed when in standby
(Power consumption: 3 W).
Off Suspend network function during standby. It will
take slightly longer till the network connection is
completed.
• The minimum amount of power is consumed
when in standby (Power consumption: 0.4 W).
• This is the default setting.

The display returns to normal.
