StarControl operates on most WinCE.Net v4.2 or greater and Windows Mobile 5
handheld devices. The handheld versions of StarControl software require the use of
Microsoft
®
Active Sync™ for installation. The following procedures assume that
Microsoft
®
Active Sync™ [version 3.8.0; Build 5004 or higher] is loaded on the PC, and
the PC is not currently connected to any other device. If the PC does not have
ActiveSync, the latest version may be downloaded at the following link:
www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/activesync/default.mspx
Please note that Active Sync™ is not required to run the PC Desktop version of
StarControl.
As WinCE.Net is an embedded operating system, some WinCE.Net equipped
devices may not contain the modules required by StarControl to execute
properly. Consult the local NavCom Technology, Inc. dealer or contact NavCom
