About recording modes

In addition to ordinary recording of the input

signal, with this unit, you can mix and record the

input sound with an audio file that is playing back

in overdubbing.
Overdubbing OFF
Ordinary recording of the input signal occurs and

a new file is automatically created.
Overdubbing ON
When overdubbing is ON, you can play an audio

file saved on the SD card and mix in and record

a new sound. For example, you can sing along to

a karaoke track or play an instrument over a

backing track.
Even when overdubbing a new file is created

automatically. The audio file that is played back

is not overwritten.

TIP

By recording repeatedly in OVERDUB mode, you
can use the unit as a simple multitrack recorder
to overdub multiple parts.
