5) Adjust the input level
Use the

INPUT

volume control on the right side

panel to adjust the input level.

If the

PEAK

indicator to the side of the display

lights, lower the input level.
If a mark remains at the right end of the L/R meter,
use the

INPUT

volume control to lower the input

level, or lower the level of the effect with the

LVL

knob on the Effect Screen if you are using an
effect.

TIP

If you hear distortion when you plug in an

active guitar or bass (one that contains an
internal battery), turn the volume down on
the instrument.
If the level is still too low even when the

INPUT volume is at the maximum when the
input source is set to INT/MIC and you are
using the built-in mic or the MIC IN input,
change the GAIN item to a higher setting on
the INT/MIC IN functions setting screen.

page 43.)
When the input source is set to LINE, use the

output volume control on the connected
device to adjust the level.
