Confirming installation preparations
Before you install an H3C S9500E switch, verify that:
•
Make sure you have read "Preparing for installation" carefully and the installation site meets all the
requirements.
•
Using the packing list supplied with your switch, inspect the switch to be sure that you have all the
items listed in the packing list, and verify that the switch was not damaged during shipment. If
anything is damaged or missing, contact the H3C customer representative immediately.

Installing the switch in a rack
Confirm the following preparations before starting installation:

The rack is sturdy and securely grounded.
