The following table defines the values represented in the Socket State
parameter:
State Definition
-1 Listen function called to set up server
0 Waiting for connection to be established on server
1 Handle first request and build response for first part of multi-
request message.
2 Handle more requests in packet received.
100 Closing server on program termination
1000 Initiate a close on the server
1001 Waiting for server to successfully close
The following table defines the values represented in the Connection State
parameter:
State Definition
0 No session exists on socket
1 Session established but no connections
2 Session established and connected
Block 251 Response Block Format
Offset Content Description
0 Block read ID This word contains the value of 251 to indicate this specific
status block
1 Block Write ID This word contains the next write block to receive from the
processor.

3 Connection State
4 Open Count Total number of times the server has performed an open
operation.
5 Establish Count Total number of times a connection has been established on
the server.
6 Close Count Total number of times the server has performed a close
operation.
7 Read Total number of packets received by the server.
8 Message Total number of message receive by the server.
9 Write Total number of packets sent from the server to the client.
10 Timeout Total number of times the server as reached a connection
timeout condition.
11 Host Port Service port on client connected to the server.
12 to 13 Host IP Address IP address of the client connected to the server.
